Health Education

Ventura College offers six different Health Education courses on a regular basis. Two of the courses, HED V93 HED V93 and HED V95, meet the Health Education requirement for an Associate of Arts and an Associate of Science degree. Students learn the concepts of disease prevention, stress reduction and personal everyday decisions which can lead to optimal health. Several courses offer certifications with the American Red Cross: First Aid and Safety and CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
