Alternate Text Production Center
The Alternate Text Production Center (ATPC) is a Braille and electronic text production facility providing timely and accurate access to alternative formats of texts and educational materials for college students with print disabilities. Customized Training & Services to Business The Institute for Community & Professional Development designs and delivers customized training and services to meet the needs of businesses and organizations through the region. Contract with the ICPD for mandated topics training, assessment services, strategic planning, software upgrade training, global marketing strategies and dozens of other areas. Research and Evaluation
The ICPD Research and Evaluation staff serve the community through the development and delivery of company or industry-wide surveys to aid in the development of customized, targeted training for the best return on investment.
Resource Development
The ICPD Resource Development department enables the college to identify external funding sources to support the development of new and innovative programs and services. Small Business Development Center
The Ventura County Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is a national U.S. Small Business Administration program that provides high quality management counseling free-of-charge to existing and potential small business. The SBDC also offers high quality workshops on a wide range of relevant subjects at an affordable cost. Launched in Ventura County in 2006 as a member of the Small Business Development Center Network of Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara counties, the Ventura County Center combines the wealth of its consultants' business experience with its dedication to the success of all small businesses and entrepreneurs. Center for Excellence
The Center for Excellence is funded by the Chancellor's Office of the California Community Colleges. It provides educators and businesses with valuable labor market information and trend data to be used in developing new training programs or services for the community.
