Separation" is an interactive site-specific work at Ventura College Performing Arts Center. The work explores the multiple meaning of "Separation" and is created to exist in specific places of Ventura College Performing Arts Center.  The choreography is generated through research and interpretation of the site's unique environment to discover the hidden meaning in a space and develop methods to amplify it.

The first half of the concert is a guided tour of the Performing Arts Center where the audience members can interact and experience both the choreography and building in multiple ways.  The second half will culminate elements of the site-specific exploration and bring it onto the formal stage.
