Congratulations to the following players that qualified for the Southern California Regionals for Singles: Ashley Litchfiled and Sarah Gifford. Congratulations to the following players that qualified for the Southern California Regionals for Doubles Ashley Litchfield/Katya Welborn. Ashley Litchfield won the singles final over Arina Polovnilova of Palomar 6-1,6-0. Ashley swept Cerritos Samantha Nadres 7-6, 6-1. 6-1 to become Ventura College's first Women's Singles State Champion.
Ashley Litchfield won the Ojai community College Singles Championship. She is the first Pirate to win the Ojai C.C. Women's singles Title in school history. Ashley also was named Honorable Mention CCCAA Athlete of the Month for the month of May.
