Your Pirates are currently 16-1 overall and 10-0 placing them 1st  in WSC play. Check out what Pirates are among your 2009 conference leaders in the WSC Report Link.  The Pirates won their First Round Team Socal Playoff game verse San Diego Mesa 6-0 and beat Riverside in the Semi's of the Socal Team Playoffs 5-1.  In the Socal Team Finals VC lost 0-5 to COD ending our team season.

Congratulations to the following players for qualifying for the Southern California Singles: Zach Taylor, Hassan Abbas, Alexandre Rigobello, Alexandre Piccin, and Romain Scipione.  Congratulations to the following players for qualifying for the Southern Caifornia Doubles: Taylor/Abbas, Arteaga/Arteaga, and Muster/Rigobello.  Zach Taylor lost in the finals of the Southern California Singles Championships to Laurent Minguez of Orange Coast College 6-4,6-2. Zach advances to State in singles and doubles as well with Hassan Abbas. Hassan is attempting to become the first VC player to win a doubles title for the second consecutive year.

Zach Taylor has advanced to the Quarterfinals of the Ojai Singles. He plays Sat. @ 9:30 at the Ojai Valley Athletic Club.
