Welcome to the home of the Pirates! Since 1925, the Ventura College Athletics Program has competed in Southern California Community College Athletics. We are located one hour from metropolitan Los Angeles on the Pacific Ocean. Over 12,000 students attend Ventura College each semester and approximately 400 are student-athletes. The college academic program is very comprehensive as we offer programs in vocational, remedial, transfer and certificate classes from agriculture to water science. We offer nine men's and nine women's intercollegiate sports.

The "Eye of Tradition" is upon you if you attend Ventura College. You will be a part of a tradition that includes multiple State Championships in Men's and Women's Basketball, Men's Tennis, and Men's Swimming & Diving, countless Conference championships in all 17 sports, multiple Coach-of-the-Year awards and our seventeen Western State Conference Sports Supremacy Award titles. Our most recent California State champions were Women's Basketball (2010), Men's Tennis (2010), Men's Swimming & Diving (2010), and Women's Tennis (2012).
